The Glasgow-based Sunday Herald has strengthened its team with three highprofile appointments, writes Dominic Ponsford.
The editor of Holyrood magazine, Paul Hutcheon, has been made Scottish political editor, following the departure of Douglas Fraser to sister paper The Herald.
Sunday Herald editor Andrew Jaspan said: “Paul is one of the most exceptional young journalists I have come across in a long time who, as editor of Holyrood, has made it a must-read for anyone who wants to know what’s going on in the Scottish political scene.”
Senay Boztas has joined as arts correspondent after working at The Sunday Times. Alasdair Reid, also from The Sunday Times, has been made chief rugby writer.
