IPC Country & Leisure Media (CALM) has appointed Simon Hare publisher of its equestrian titles with immediate effect.
Hare was previously publisher of IPC CALM’s Country Life. He will now be responsible for Eventing, Horse and the UK’s leading equestrian magazine, Horse & Hound.
Fiona Dent, publishing director of IPC’s Country and Equestrian titles, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Simon back to the equestrian titles. He has done a superb job developing Country Life’s brand extensions and his focus on brand development will help the equestrian group to achieve even greater success.”
Hart, who was publisher of the equestrian titles from December 2000 to May 2002, added: “Working on Country Life has been brilliant and I have initiated ventures that are up and running. It’s a wonderful opportunity to move back to the equestrian team and work with them on the many exciting plans I know are afoot.”
