Gowers to be new editor of Financial Times

By Press Gazette

Pearson boss Majorie Scardino has confirmed weeks of rumours that Financial Times editor Richard Lambert is to leave the paper after 10 years.
He will be succeeded by FT Deutschland launch editor Andrew Gowers who held the fort in London for Lambert for over a year while he was in the US boosting FT sales in North America. Gowers starts the job in September and Lambert will stay until December.
