Award-winning editor Simon Geller will take the helm at Sky the magazine, the biggest distribution magazine in the UK, publisher John Brown Citrus announced this week.
Geller, a self-proclaimed “Sky fanatic”, will lead a redesign of the 7m distribution mag and work on strengthening its “loyalty-enhancing role” for Sky subscribers.
In the past, Geller has edited Mizz, Me and Maxim magazines, and was voted editor of the year by the British Society of Magazine Editors for his work in the top job at Men’s Health .
He was also editor of Bauer’s illfated men’s weekly Cut, which closed in mid-December after four months.
He said: “I’m delighted to be given the chance to work for a company whose services I’ve been enjoying for the past 10 years”
