The Financial Times has appointed Peter Thal Larsen as banking editor.
Thal Larsen started at the FT as a media correspondent in 1999, and has since held several different writing and editing roles at the newspaper.His most recent position was that of Wall Street correspondent, where he covered mergers, acquisitions, bankruptcies and restructurings from his base in New York.
Thal Larsen replaces Charles Pretzlik, who became the FT’s UK companies editor earlier in the year.
