Cosmopolitan is planning to offer free financial advice with the launch of an online channel, CosmoMoney.
The channel, part of cosmopolitan.
co.uk, will offer independent advice for readers on how to get the best deals from household bills and personal finance companies.
It is aimed at readers who are looking for a better deal on their gas or electricity bill or who want to take out a personal loan. Cosmo said it will also provide hints on how to cut your credit card bill in half.
The launch follows a tie-up with uSwitch.com.
James Garner, web producer of Cosmopolitan.co.uk, said the aim was to help readers take advantage of the best tariffs and services on offer from suppliers. “You simply enter your current payments for a particular service and our calculators will evaluate whether you are getting the best deal for your individual needs.
“We want to offer a service that is user friendly, impartial and above all saves every reader money,” he said.
