Change at Peterborough Evening Telegraph

By Press Gazette

Rebecca Stephens has been named as the new editor of the Johnston Press-owned Peterborough Evening Telegraph, writes Dominic Ponsford.

Stephens had been deputy editor of the Evening Echo in Basildon for a year and before that worked at The Argus, Brighton, for four years where she was assistant editor.

She trained at Cardiff University School of Journalism and started her career at the South Wales Evening Post before moving on to a newsdesk position at the Gloucestershire Echo.

She said: “I’m delighted. I’ve got a lot of good ideas and I’m looking forward to discussing them with the team.”
