BBC Magazines is planning to launch another teen title this autumn.
The launch, which has the working title Project April, will sit alongside Top of The Pops and It’s Hot magazines.
The BBC is now recruiting a full-time team for the magazine.
Publisher Alfie Lewis said: “There’s a real buzz about the project and we expect great things. Creating something new and appealing for such a selective audience is a fantastic challenge.”
The BBC has said it also plans to launch a food title, headed by BBC Good Food’s Orlando Murrin.
