Financial Times wins five prizes at Comment Awards

The Financial Times claimed five prizes at the 2015 Comment Awards this week.

Janan Ganesh of the FT took home the commentariat of the year award as well as political commentator of the year. And the newspaper won the comment pages of the year award.

The annual ceremony, which is run by Editorial Intelligence, is in its seventh year.

The chair of judges Sir Anthony Seldon said: “It’s been an exemplary 12 months for UK comment journalism across the media landscape, from the general election at home, to political upheaval abroad; a changing media landscape, to violent attacks on free expression, there is a vibrancy of material to be covered.”
