US based journalist Mark McSherry has joined The Independent and the London Evening Standard as part-time business correspondent.
McSherry is based in New York City and was formerly and editor and reporter with Reuters, The Sunday Times, Bloomberg, The Scotsman and the South China Morning Post. He also writes a Market Week Ahead column for Forbes.com.
As well as reporting on US business matters for the Independent and Standard McSherry will continue as Professor of Communication Arts at St Francis College, Brooklyn.
