Sunday Sport calls out the Express over Christmas weather splash

By Axegrinder

Axegrinder loves nothing more than tales of two newspapers engaging in some petty mudslinging – especially when it comes in the form of a tip-off.

Amid the plentiful offers of search engine optimisation services, potential brides from abroad and a share of Colonel Gadaffi’s millions, one confidant emailed Axegrinder with news of a spat between the Daily Express and Sunday Sport.

The Express as you are no doubt aware has been warning of a biblical weather event threatening to wipe out Christmas. The storm is so severe that the Met Office has yet to warn the public of the impending doom as this would only provoke mass panic, rioting and the eventual breakdown of British society.

Or as the Sunday Sport calls it, “Even we wouldn’t dare print bollocks like that.”
