Decline of a daily: The last 13 years of the Liverpool Daily Post (interactive timeline)

By Rachel Banning-Lover

The Liverpool Post's circulation was declining for over 10 years before Trinity Mirror announced it would be closing the paper yesterday.

Over that time, the 158-year old paper relaunched its paper and web edition, launched a crowdsourced news project, began liveblogging, launched a business magazine and a business app, and made the shift from a daily paper to a weekly one.
