Where there’s a Will there’s a wiki

By Axegrinder axeblog

Axegrinder, with time on his hands, has been having a look on Wikipedia, which says this is about the new Telegraph editor-in-chief: “Will Lewis was a popular person and an energetic, dynamic and inspiring editor.”

Could it be that Telegraph staff have been fiddling around with Wikipedia much like White House/Whitehall staff?

While on the subject of Wikipedia, according to the rumour mill, a sub-editor at the Daily Telegraph was sacked just the other day.

Their sin was changing the entry on Matthew D’Ancona to make a scurrilous claim about The Spectator editor and drinking.

“They tracked it down to the sub’s office computer,” my spy says.
