But they were all put to shame at the weekend by a young hack so fresh-faced that she’s not yet entered the Mirror’s graduate trainee scheme.
Laura Armstrong spotted Kate enjoying a hen night while on a stint with The People and asked if she was planning to marry. Intriguingly, Kate replied “not yet”, giving the paper more than enough to run a full-page Royal exclusive.
