Just days after The Guardian raised its cover price to £1 – The Independent has dropped its price to £1 a week for a seven-day subcription, as part of a trial offer.
The Independent is reducing the subscription price to a £1 a week for a month’s trial – but only for those who sign up for a subscrion via direct debit. The price rises to £6 a week after the trial period ends.
