Writing about the row over Labour’s recuitment of Sir Alan Sugar in his column in today’s Sun, Jeremy Clarkson reveals that he was recently approached by the Conservative Party to become their ‘transport guru’.
I do hope he’s remembered to file this tale as a news story for tomorrow’s Sunday Times, otherwise I suspect that there might be some angry faces on the newsdesk.
