Clarkson lands The Sun a PCC complaint

By Rachael

Potty-mouthed TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson really is doing his best to out do Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross for the most offensive BBC employee award, reports The Independent.

Following on from last week’s comments about lorry drivers killing prostitutes, Clarkson has landed The Sun a complaint to the PCC.

In Clarkson’s weekly column in Saturday’s edition of the red top the Top Gear presenter branded Greece a ‘toilet’and when describing a recent campaign by the Greek National Tourist board in London he said it featured a girl who “didn’t look all that Greek either. She didn’t have a moustache, for instance”.

Greek editor of the UK-based website London Daily News John Kaponi has responded by reporting the The Sun to the Press Complaints Commission for printing “misleading” information.
