TSL Education joins the increasing number of publications set to make redundancies, reports Media Guardian.
Up to nine editorial staff – three photodesk, three subeditors and three journalists – could face the chop as part of a restructuring of the Times Education Supplement which includes closing the title’s photodesk.
Staff are said to be unhappy with the changes and are concerned that the quality of work could be affected.
The last few weeks has also seen redundancies announced at The Big Issue, Telegraph Media Group, Trinity Mirror Midlands and Sheffield Newspapers.
