The editor of the Italian edition of Vogue has said she did not consult publisher Condé Nast before announcing she was to publish an all-black issue of the fashion bible.
Speaking to the Independent, Franca Sozzani – who has just put the finishing touches to the black-only July issue – said: “I didn’t tell them before, only afterwards. Both my presidents in Italy in New York were very happy.”
