Pearson chief executive Marjorie Scardino earned £2.3m last year, the Financial Times publisher’s annual accounts have revealed.
Scardino received a basic salary of £900,000, an annual incentive of £1.3m and allowances and benefits totalling almost £100,000. She also holds around 400,000 Pearson shares, which at today’s price are worth £2.7m.
Rona Fairhead, the FT Group chief executive, earned £1.2m.
