Connecticut police look into Felix Dennis ‘murder’ claim

By paulmcnally

Police in Connecticut have said they are helping British police with their inquiries after Felix Dennis claimed in a alcohol-soaked interview that he had killed a man by pushing him off a cliff – a claim which he later retracted.

A Sunday Telegraph investigation has revealed that Dennis spent most of the early 1980s living in two homes in Connecticut, and claims that both were “near cliffs that provided an opportunity to kill in the way he had described”.

But a close friend of Dennis tells the paper: “He’s more likely to fall off a cliff than push someone. I honestly believe the whole story is just hot air – the product of much fine wine.”
