Simon Kelner, editor-in-chief of The Independent and Independent on Sunday, has strongly denied that his daily paper is to go free.
Speaking to MediaGuardian – and responding to one of their stories earlier this week– Kelner said: “It’s utter rubbish…and I think it’s shameful journalism on the part of Guardian Media that you present unsubtantiated gossip as news.”
