James Price, editor of the BBC homepage, writes that over 3,000 people have responded to his call for feedback on the beta (test-phase) version of the site. Look for yourself here.
Among the things they said were:
- that they wanted more news and sports headlines and weather higher up the page (“above the fold” in web jargon),
- that the main image on the homepage was too big and
- that the homepage was used too much as an advert for BBC content
