By Patrick

The sports pages of almost every national newspaper have tipped Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes to become the new boss at beleaguered Newcastle United.

The Sun, Daily Mirror, Times, Guardian, Independent, Daily Star and Daily Mail all to varying degrees link the former Wales Manager with a move to the North East in the coming days.
