Detectives investigating alleged breaches of privacy have arrested a man, officers said.
The 44-year-old is the 10th person to be arrested by detectives from Operation Tuleta, the Metropolitan Police investigation of breaches of privacy, which is running alongside the phone-hacking scandal investigation, Operation Weeting.
The arrest was not directly linked to any news organisation or the activities of journalists, Scotland Yard said.
The man was arrested at business premises in Suffolk at about 10.15am for suspected offences under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000, said a Scotland Yard spokesman.
He was questioned at a Suffolk police station before being released on bail to return to a London police station in November.
