Singer Kerry Katona and her ex-husband, Westlife singer Brian McFadden, are among the latest group of people to sue News International over the phone-hacking scandal.
They have issued legal action at the High Court in London against subsidiary News Group Newspapers and the News of the World's former private investigator Glenn Mulcaire.
In separate actions, criminal law specialist Kirsty Brimelow QC is also suing News Group Newspaper and Mulcaire.
In 2007 Brimelow was reported to have had an affair with the Director of Public Prosecutions Sir Ken Macdonald QC, who was then married.

Businesswoman Ruth Badger, who was the runner-up in the BBC reality show The Apprentice in 2006, is suing both News Group Newspapers and Mulcaire as well.
Badger, 34, now runs her own consultancy business in Manchester and presented her own television show, Badger or Bust.
Media mogul Rupert Murdoch shut down the News of the World in July 2011 after massive public backlash when it emerged the paper hacked into the phone of murdered schoolgirl Millie Dowler.
Dozens of celebrities and other individuals have started legal proceedings against News Group over phone hacking claims and News International has already settled several batches of claims.
