Johnston Press has announced plans to close its Donegal on Sunday title in Ireland with the loss of three editorial jobs.
The move will seen the company instead focus resources on publication of the Donegal Democrat Tuesday edition, Donegal People’s Press and the Donegal Democrat Thursday edition.
The move is the latest in a wave of cost-cutting across the newspaper group as it has closed offices, sacked editors and closed titles across the UK.
Donegal on Sunday launched in 2004 and had a weekly sale of 3,547 according to ABC at a cover price of Euros 1.25.
