Former Sun editor Kelvin MacKenzie and Daily Mail editor Paul Dacre were the two star turns of the Leveson Inquiry seminars – presenting very different visions of tabloid journalism.
The two day-long events gathered nearly every Fleet Street editor as well as a variety of lawyers, hackademics and other interested parties to debate the issues around the phone-hacking scandal. The two seminars at the Queen Elizabeth II conference centre in Westminster set the scene for the inquiry-proper which is set to get underway in November.
