Grim goings on at Tindle Newspapers’ North London division

Journalists at Tindle Newspapers‘ Enfield offices made their point in dramatic fashion about low staffing levels when they issued this photo (above) to go with an announcement that they plan to take six days of strike action.

The dispute looks set to be a bitter one. Staff complain that three reporters and one news editor are producing nine newspaper editions.

Tindle bosses insist that non-replacement of staff has allowed them to avoid redundancies at the loss-making papers.
