STV has appointed David Milne as executive editor of STV Local, its online and mobile news and listings initiative.

Milne joins from Newsquest‘s Herald and Times Group in Glasgow where he was previously group digital editor.

Prior to this he was deputy editor of the Sunday Herald and had previously been assistant and news editor of the Sunday Herald.
