ITN newsreader Nina Hossain is to replace Katie Derham as the co-presenter of ITV London Tonight.
Hossain will join ITV London Tonight co-host Donal MacIntyre on the sofa after Derham moves to rejoin the BBC later this month.
She said: ‘Having spent several happy years working for ITN, I’m delighted to join ITV London Tonight as a main newscaster.
‘I’ve already presented a number of programmes with Donal and look forward to us being the news team that up to a million Londoners see in their living rooms every night.”

In addition to presenting the capital’s daily news show, Hossain will continue to present a number of national news bulletins for ITV News.
Before joining ITV News in 2004 Hossain had been a presenter for BBC London News and ITV Border.
