Kate Matharu has been appointed editor of womanandhome.com, the website of the monthly glossy Woman & Home.
She replaces Pippa Jackson who, after editing the website since May, 2007, has left to pursue interests outside of journalism.
Matharu, who will take up her role with immediate effect, joins from fellow IPC Media website, marieclaire.co.uk, where she has been assistant editor for more than two years.
Prior to that appointment she had also worked as entertainment assistant on Marie Claire magazine.
