Life’s a beach for Sky News’ Adam

By Press Gazette

The Journalists’ Charity saw the tables turned on Sky News‘ political editor Adam Boulton when he was subjected to a tough interview from former Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock at the House of Commons for charity.

Kinnock, who was savagely lampooned by The Sun while Labour leader, said he relished to the opportunity to ‘repay all the little kindnesses offered to me by the journalistic profession”.

Kinnock asked Boulton about a photo of the Sky man reporting from the Nice Summit in 2000, which was published in the Evening Standard and showed him lying on the floor asleep ‘like a beached whale”.

The event raised £6,000 for the journalists’ care home in Dorking.
