Cavan Scott has joined BBC Magazines Bristol as the editor of new launch BBC MindGames magazine.
Scott replaces Cam Winstanley, who was the launch editor of MindGames on a freelance basis. He joins
BBC MindGames from Future where he was editor-in-chief of the Kids
portfolio and has most recently been involved in the relaunch of
Disney's various pre-teen magazines.
Scott has worked in both consumer
and business-to-business journalism for 11 years, including men's
technology magazine T3, Internet Works, Internet Business and Laptop
magazine.
He said: "I'm really looking forward to building on
the highly successful launch of BBC MindGames, the most challenging
puzzle magazine on the newsstand. We'll be ensuring that each issue is
the brain's equivalent of a sweaty work-out down the gym and be urging
our readers to, as Einstein probably never said, come and have a go if
you think hard enough."
BBC Homes & Antiques magazine has also now moved from BBC Magazines in London to the Bristol base.
