The Evening Standard has signed up David Bond as executive sports editor.
Bond is currently sports news correspondent at the Sunday Times and was previously a sports reporter at the Standard. He replaces Simon Greenberg who has left the London paper to become director of communications at Chelsea Village.
Bond said: “I am delighted to be going back to the Standard. I’ve enjoyed my time at the Sunday Times, but this is an exciting time for the Standard and a very exciting time for me.
