Deputy editor Stephen Brown has been promoted to editor of Official Xbox Magazine.
He takes over from Max Everingham, who quit to work for videogames developer and publisher Codemasters.
Brown, who has been acting editor for the past two issues, has a solid background in the games sector, having also held the post of associate editor on PC Gamer. Official Xbox Magazine is published by Future subsidiary FXM International.
It showed impressive growth in the latest round of ABCs, increasing its circulation by 108 per cent, making it the UK’s fastest growing monthly consumer magazine.
FXM International is a sister company to Future Publishing. It also publishes Xbox Gamer as well as managing all non-US editions of The Official Xbox Magazine. The magazine is published in the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Australia and there are further editions in the pipeline.
