You & Your Wedding has produced a spin-off magazine dedicated to wedding ?owers to celebrate its 18th year.
The 132-page You & Your Wedding Flowers, out this week, has been designed by style editor Kate Smallwood. It will be distributed free throughout the UK with You & Your Wedding.
The National Magazine Company, which publishes both titles, has said it has no plans to launch it as a standalone but it will be produced next year in the same format as a free magazine.
The main title has also marked its birthday with quotes from celebrities such as Madonna, Tom Hanks, Mel Gibson, Jennifer Aniston and Catherine Zeta-Jones on what makes a successful marriage.
Looking back to the launch of You & Your Wedding in 1985, editor Carole Hamilton claimed couples were now far more daring when it came to organising weddings.
“Couples have a true sense of individuality which was rarely seen in the traditional weddings of 20 years ago,” she said.
“But what our celebrity quotes prove is that no matter how much money you have or how lavish your wedding is, it is the little things that can really make a marriage work.”
