Mail on Sunday showbiz editor Katie Hind has been promoted to consultant editor (showbusiness) for Mail Newspapers, which now runs as a seven-day operation across the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday.
Mail Newspapers said in a statement that Hind will “ensure that the celebrity content across both Mail titles is the best on Fleet Street”.
Hind joined the Mail on Sunday in 2016 and was previously Los Angeles editor at the Mirror. She was named showbiz reporter of the year at the Press Awards last year for scoops about Victoria Beckham’s use of the Covid-19 furlough scheme and Kay Burley’s birthday party that saw her suspended from Sky News for six months.
