Croydon-based QBM has entered into exclusive
negotiations with William Reed and the deal is expected to go through
on Thursday.The magazines and their staffs are expected to move to
Crawley within the next six weeks.

It is the second deal in the break-up of QBM
which began in February when it sold weekly trade magazine The Publican
to United Business Media for £21 million.
Quantum’s remaining titles – including Press Gazette, Media Week,
Laboratory News, Packaging News and Building Products – remain up for
sale.
