Wave 105.2FM, the Hampshire-based radio station owned by Scottish Radio Holdings, is seeking a news editor to lead its team of four permanent staff and freelance journalists.
The post marks an expansion for the newsroom at Wave, which has moved away from chat and studio guests to focus on news and information since its launch six years ago.
Programme controller John Dash told Press Gazette: “We’ve been through ownership changes and I feel it’s good for the team to have a leader and to take it in a new direction.”
The deadline for applications is 19 March.
SRH acquired Wave from The Wireless Group in November 2001 for £18m.
