The growing full-time David Beckham press corps has gained two new recruits.
The Daily Mirror was the first paper to appoint a Beckham correspondent last week when it sent Stephen Moyes out to Madrid to shadow the former Manchester United star. Now The Sun has followed suit, sending reporter Tom Worden down to sunny Spain as a full-time Beckham watcher. And Dartford-based news agency Ferrari has appointed Madrid-based freelancer Laura Mannering as its Beckham correspondent. Ferrari co-director Matt Bell said: “We have a reputation for providing exclusive stories on top celebrities like Beckham, so we’ve taken the bold decision to go where he has gone to maintain that supply.”
