
The Times and Daily Mail are the two frontrunners in this year's Press Awards with 20 nominations.
The awards for the national press are organised by the Society of Editors and have 30 categories.
The contenders for the top prize of newspaper of the year are: Daily Mail, London Evening Standard, The Guardian, The Mail on Sunday, The Sunday Times and The Times.
All the winners will be announced at an awards dinner held in London on 11 March.
