Time Out Kiev to launch

London-based listings mag Time Out is adding Kiev to its growing list of international franchised editions.

The Kiev edition will come out on 23 November, published under licence by Ukrainian Media Holding.

UMH president Borys Lozhkin said: "We are delighted to welcome the legendary Time Out to the capital of Ukraine. This is fantastic news not only for readers in Kiev, but also for the rapidly developing media market in Ukraine.

"We are thrilled to become a part of the established Time Out family worldwide and look forward to tapping into many years of experience dedicated to coverage of urban arts, entertainment and consumer activities.”

Time Out chairman Tony Elliott said: "We're really delighted about the launch of Time Out Kiev. It’s a beautiful European city with an impressive history and an exciting future ahead. The country is going through profound changes and we’re very pleased that Time Out will play a role in its rapidly expanding cultural and entertainment industry.”

Editor of the new magazine, Timur Doroveev, has previously been editor the Ukraine edition of FHM.
