Manley, left, and Brooks will give readers ‘access to the biggest parties’
The People is beefing up its showbiz coverage by launching a column called VIP this weekend.
It will be written by Nadia Brooks, who joins the paper from the Daily Star, and Debbie Manley, who moves over from the reporting team.
According to The People, their brief is to “be out on the party circuit seven nights a week, giving People readers access to the biggest parties across the country”.
The new column replaces Sean O’Brien’s Hot People section. He has been promoted to showbusiness editor.
