More than half of the NUJ’s gay, lesbian and transsexual members have suffered discrimination at work according to a new survey released at the ADM.
A questionnaire was sent out to the NUJ’s full membership and 148 answers were received. Out of those who were discrimated against, 35 per cent said they had been refused promotion, 13 per cent had received verbal abuse and 6 per cent had been bullied.
