Students from Southampton Institute have been awarded prizes for their work by local radio station Wave 105.
Jo Smith, a graduate in journalism, and Anna Tarrant, who has graduated in corporate communications, each received £105.
Smith, whose award recognises her radio work in her final year, said: “I’m thrilled. I’ve never really won anything before, and this is going to look excellent on my CV.”
Tarrant’s award was for her dissertation on internal communications within the health service.
The prize was launched as a collaboration between the Southampton Institute and Wave 105 to help build relations between the two and maintain the professional requirements of each.
