Veteran Evening Standard photographer Dave Benett has signed a deal with Getty Images to market his archive of 300,000 pictures.
Benett, who has been taking entertainment photos for the Standard since 1984, said: “After 20 years in the business, my collection includes some rare and socially significant images. I wanted these to be looked after and distributed in the best way possible. Getty Images has a superb distribution channel and is a strong proponent of the rights of photographers, so is the ideal partner to showcase my work.”
