Bruce Sandwell (above) has been appointed managing director of Dennis’s consumer division. Previously group publishing director, Sandwell will now be responsible for Maxim, Men’s Fitness, Viz, Bizarre and the gambling titles, which include Inside Edge, Poker Player and Total Gambler.
James Tye, CEO of Dennis Publishing, said: "Gambling has been Dennis’s fastest-growing sector since we launched Inside Edge two years ago.
Now we have four magazines and a major website in the sector, it’s important that they are recognised as part of our superb consumer portfolio.

Also, Simon Clarke has been promoted to publisher for both Men’s Fitness and Maxim, while Kerin O’Connor becomes both MD for The Week and executive director of Dennis Publishing.
