The Observer’s Mary Riddell has joined the Daily Telegraph as an assistant editor and weekly columnist.
Riddell has written a column in The Observer for 7 years, joining the paper from the Daily Mail where she was an interviewer for 10 years.
Telegraph editor Will Lewis said: ‘Mary is a brilliant commentator and interviewer, and I am delighted to welcome her to the Telegraph.’
