O'Reilly buys more Indy shares to shake off O'Brien

Independent News and Media chief executive Tony O’Reilly has spent another €4.22m on shares in his company.

The move gives O’Reilly a 27.46 per cent stake and is a defensive measure against “dissident shareholder” Denis O’Brien’s attempts to build up his stake in the Independent publisher.
